How it works

Otrivine® Adult Nasal Drops contain the active ingredient xylometazoline hydrochloride that helps to open up and clear nasal passages by reducing nasal mucus and returning swollen blood vessels to their normal size.

How to use

We would suggest that you try not to blow your nose for the first few minutes allowing the medicine to get to work.

For Adults and Children over 12 years of age: 2 to 3 drops in each nostril 2 or 3 times daily

  1. Clear your nose.
  2. Lean head back as far as is comfortable (see diagram).
  3. Apply 2 or 3 drops to each nostril.

Do not use continuously for more than 7 consecutive days. If symptoms persist consult your doctor or pharmacist. To avoid possible spread of infection, this bottle should only be used by one person.
