Air Bubble launched as UN climate Change Conference in Glasgow.
The Air Bubble is a unique air purifying play space using biotechnology. It allows children to interact with and experience the air cleaning capabilities of microalgae in a fun and interactive way.
It combines the unique air purifying properties of 520 litres of living green Chlorella sp algae cultures embedded into 52 algae bioreactors which filter 200 litres of polluted air a minute, with two sources of power - sunlight and children’s play.
This forms a unique microclimate that purifies the air, so the more children play, the more air is purified.
